Each hotel has its own cancellation policy listed. Click on the hotel you’re interested in booking – the hotel cancellation policy is listed at the bottom of the page along with any deposit requirements.
You can manage your reservation yourself by clicking the “Manage Reservation” button, or you can contact J Team Management via email or phone 8am – 5pm CST, Mon - Fri.
There are only three hotels that will require an advance deposit, please carefully read the deposit policy for the hotel you’ve selected. All other hotel properties will not require advance payment – you will be charged upon your departure from the hotel.
Hotels will not guarantee an early check-in or late departures, but it can be requested. If you need to guarantee either one, you will be charged a fee by the hotel (usually 1-nights room + tax).
Reservations are made and managed through the EventPipe platform by J Team Management until the week of the event. Reservation information is sent to the hotel approximately 2 weeks prior to the event. If you want to check on your reservation prior to then, or make a change/cancellation, you can do so by entering the customer reservation portal here - You just need your pipe ID from your confirmation email to enter the customer portal.
A run of house (ROH) room type is a standard or most common category in a hotel, offering basic amenities. When you choose an ROH room, the specific room type and number of beds are assigned by the hotel based on availability at check-in.
The Hilton at UAB, the Sheraton hotel and the Westin hotel all require a minimum of 3 nights to make a reservation. If you are staying in Birmingham for only 1 or 2 nights, you will not be able to book a room at any of those three properties.

Credit Card Authorization Forms - If a person is paying for a room(s) but will not be present or have the physical card at check-in, the hotel requires a credit card authorization on file to allow the guest to check in. Each hotel has its own unique credit card authorization form, so please reach out to events@jteammgt.com to have J Team Management request a form for you.
