Competition Format
3.2 Km (2-Mile) Open Water Course. Swim caps will be provided. No floating devices of any kind; no fins or hand devices allowed.
The sport may be postponed, rescheduled, or cancelled if unavoidable for stormy conditions or high waves. No aid may be given to competing swimmers until they have crossed the finish line. A time limit of 2 hours will be given to the swimmers. After that, all remaining swimmers will be asked to leave the water or be picked up by safety boats.

1. Can I register for more than one sport?
Where possible, you are welcome to compete in as many sports as you like. However, please keep in mind some sports may overlap in schedule. We DO NOT recommend registering for sports with overlapping schedules. Register for your primary sports and disciplines, then once the final schedule is released in May, you can register for additional sports as the schedule allows.
This sport is not sanctioned with a national or international entity. It is only governed by the WPFGF.
The confirmation letter for Open Water Swim will be emailed to you and posted here by June 1, 2025.
