1. Can I register for more than one sport?
Where possible, you are welcome to compete in as many sports as you like. However, please keep in mind some sports may overlap in schedule. We DO NOT recommend registering for sports with overlapping schedules. Register for your primary sports and disciplines, then once the final schedule is released in May, you can register for additional sports as the schedule allows.
2. Can I use my tripod scope?
Scopes are legal but must be moved if in the way of another archer.
3. Are bow slings permitted in the barebow recurve category?
Bow slings are legal
4. Are kisser buttons and peep sights allowed for Archery competitions? In the compound release competition, are 1 pin mover type sights allowed?
Athletes are able to use kisser buttons and peep sights with compound bow events. They are not permitted for use with barebow bows and barebow events as they are forms of sighting and are illegal.
5. Will shade and water be available for athletes?
Yes, shade and water will be available for athletes.
6. Will there be bleachers or seating for spectators?
Spectators are advised to bring their own seating but there will be seating for athletes.
7. Can spectators bring tents or coverings?
Yes, spectators can bring their own means of shade.
8. Can spectators bring pets?
Due to various venues’ rules, pets are not permitted within the competition area. Exceptions apply to service animals.
9. Will there be food for purchase at the archery venue?
Athletes are advised to bring their own snacks to the venue.
This sport is not sanctioned with a national or international entity. It is only governed by the WPFGF.
The confirmation letter for archery will be emailed to you and posted here by June 1, 2025.
