During the days of competition (June 27 - July 6, 2025) the 2025 World Police & Fire Games is offering complimentary round trip transportation service to A SELECTED NUMBER of the sporting venues. All transportation to sport venues will run out of the BJCC. You must catch a bus at the BJCC to get to a sporting venue if you choose to take Games Transportation. This service is provided for
credentialed athletes, family, and friends from the BJCC.
The shuttle schedule will be finalized no later than February 1, 2025 and a detailed games transportation plan will be included at BHM2025.com/transportation. Athletes are strongly encouraged to make their housing accommodations in one of our Games Transportation serviced properties. Those wishing to utilize the transportation service are responsible for getting to the BJCC (own cost) or their sport venues (no direct shuttle) if not on a downtown shuttle or a venue serviced shuttle.
Direct shuttle schedules will be included in sport Confirmation Letters as well as located on BHM2025.com/transportation. Venues located outside of Greater Birmingham city limits and or not serviced by regular transit routes will be serviced by dedicated shuttles.
Dedicated shuttles will depart from a central transit hub located in close proximity to the Main Accreditation Center located at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Center off of 9th street in front of the East Hall Entrance.
Please Note: Those who plan to use the Games Transportation service will need to select the Games Transportation during registration. This will help us make sure we can allocate the correct number of buses for the venues we will service. Although this is not required to ride the shuttle it will help us make sure to plan as best we can based on equipment needs by venue.
The Athletes Village located in City Walk, downtown Birmingham, is easily accessible by driving or simply riding the Games Downtown Hotel Shuttle.
Unfortunately, Birmingham 2025 WFG Organizing Committee will not be able to service all Games Venues in the overall transportation plan. A finalized transportation plan including which venues will and will not be serviced will be available by February 1, 2025 on our website at BHM2025.com/transportation as well as sent to all registered athletes in their confirmation notices.
At this time of this entry book being published the following sports/venues listed below will not be serviced. Please make sure to check confirmation forms as well as the website BHM2025.com/transportation and under each specific sport page for additional information on Games Transportation.
