United States Police & Fire Championships
San Diego, CA

June 8 - 15, 2024
The United States Police & Fire Championships is an Olympic-style competition for athletes representing law enforcement, firefighters, and officers from corrections, probation, border protection, immigration and customs from across the country. Athletes compete in 38 different sporting events at 28 venues throughout San Diego County.

First Responder Games
Palm Beach, FL

June 3 - 16, 2024
The Florida First Responder Games are an annual sporting event that celebrates and honors the dedication of first responders in the state of Florida. These games provide an opportunity for police, firefighters, EMTs, and other emergency personnel to come together and compete in a wide range of sports and athletic events. The event emphasizes teamwork, physical fitness, and the spirit of friendly competition among Florida's first responders. It not only promotes a healthy and active lifestyle but also strengthens the sense of camaraderie and unity within the first responder community in the state.

Georgia Police & Fire Games
Columbus, GA

June 16 - 22, 2024
The Georgia Police & Fire Games were established to recognize and honor those who work in the profession of public safety, to include law enforcement and/or firefighting. The Games are open to all active and retired law enforcement officers and firefighters in every U.S. state. In 2022, eligibility was extended to volunteers and part-timers, sworn auxiliary officers, department of corrections staff, EMS workers, plus support staff (dispatchers, clerks, etc.).

Can Am Police & Fire Games
Butler, PA

July 15 - 21, 2024
The Can Am Police & Fire Games are a prestigious sporting event that brings together law enforcement officers and firefighters from Canada and the United States. These games serve as a platform for these public safety professionals to showcase their athletic abilities and foster camaraderie. Participants compete in various sports and athletic disciplines, including track and field, shooting, swimming, and more. The event not only promotes physical fitness and friendly competition but also strengthens the bonds between these dedicated first responders.

QUICK F.A.Q. GUIDE

In order to be eligible to compete in the WPFG, you must be at least 18 years old and be publicly employed as a law enforcement officer, firefighter, customs and corrections officer and must have had formal training. Your primary occupation must be as a law enforcement officer, firefighter, customs and corrections service or defined retired officer for one of those employments.

With a recent release by WPFG official volunteer fire fighters are eligible to participate as a competitor in official events.

Age is determined as of the first day of the Games. You need to be 18 years old on the first day of the event.
